Vee Technologies is a part of the multimillion Sona Valliappa Group of companies, with over seven decades of experience in running and managing businesses. While the group's origins lie in the textile industry, the group has also owned and managed several educational institutions imparting education in the areas of management, engineering and information technology.

The foray into Business Process Outsourcing was made in 1984, when Texas Instruments decided to partner with the Sona Group for its foray into India . What commenced as a business venture for merely providing IT infrastructure to companies in the BPO and IT space, steadily grew to encompass and today offers the whole range of back-end transaction processing capabilities for the Insurance, Healthcare, Logistics, Banking and Financial Services and E-Commerce industries.
